Canada’s leading design fair returns in January 2026 with a bold focus on innovation, inspiration, and the future of design. From Jan. 22 to 25, 2026, IDS Toronto will bring together top international and Canadian talent across interior design, architecture, lighting and product innovation – offering a first look at the ideas and collaborations shaping how we live, work and create.

On the show floor, more than 250 exhibitors will showcase their latest products, materials and concepts. Among the must-see features is ILLUMINATE, a striking new lighting-focused section making its Toronto debut after launching in Vancouver. Curated by ThinkL Lighting Studio, the exhibit spotlights cutting-edge innovation from leading studios including Anony, Delta Light, Flexalight, and Axolight.

Also debuting this year is Furniture Forecast, offering a global perspective on emerging design trends and introducing standout pieces launched since 2025 – many never before seen in Canada.

Meanwhile, How We Work explores the evolving future of workplace design through immersive installations, featuring collaborations by Ste. Marie Studio x Moooi and 3H + Syllable Design.

IDS 2026 also continues to champion independent and emerging talent through Studio North, featuring designers such as Etty Anderson, JETA Studio, Juba, AND Ceramic Studio, Laboratoire Textile, Le Tenon and La Mortaise, and Good Friend.

Exhibitor highlights include Hollis+Morris presenting Fabric Light, Jake Oliveira Studios unveiling Ourse, and IKEA showcasing upcoming products not yet released to market. New Portuguese and Italian Pavilions will further expand IDS’s global reach, spotlighting craftsmanship and contemporary design excellence from both regions.

On the Main Stage, keynote speakers include Eames Demetrios, Tatiana Bilbao, Tommy Smythe, Brian Gluckstein and Colette van den Thillart, who will share insights on creativity, culture and the future of design.
