The planning meeting of Canada’s first and only full-scale B2B event dedicated to the kitchen and bath industry was held recently at the Congress Centre. The event will be held in Toronto Nov. 11 and 12, 2020.

The planning meeting included the most influential leaders from both businesses and organizations including industry associations, kitchen and bath manufacturers and suppliers, media partners, consulates/trade commissioners among other major companies and organizations from the industry.

The planning meeting covered several topics and areas of opportunities and concerns of the kitchen and bath products and services trade. The participants gave emphasis on the urgent need of creating a platform such as KBC Expo to further educate business and the consumers and fulfil the growing demands and provide a vast variety of Kitchen+Bath products and services

According to Moreno Rauro of Neolith (Marble Trend), “such event is vital to further regulate the practice of Kitchen and Bath design and offerings. We need to have our platform here in Canada to boost the trade and the education of such growing industry.”

A number of attendees agreed that we need to educate the industry suppliers and the consumers about the importance of following the guidelines in the kitchen and bath manufacturing, supplying and installing the process that it is based on standards and regulations that aim to ensure the best quality and safety. The organizers are committed to working closely with all stakeholders, including architects, designers, fabricators, retailers and all companies dealing in the area of kitchen and bath to ensure the event delivers the expected content and offerings.

KBC Expo 2020 will also feature a special lighting component to further complement the kitchen and bath designs concept. Illuminate Canada 2020 will offer a platform where industry professionals can learn, collaborate and connect face-to-face. The full spectrum of lighting is showcased from innovative technologies to real-world applications.

Just like KBC, Illuminate will feature local and international exhibitors. Illuminate Canada 2020 will attract buyers, suppliers and designers who are seeking the latest lighting solutions and trends as well as the most current registered education sessions.
