Upcycle Challenge: Storage Solutions in support of Habitat for Humanity GTA

Celebrity experts and emerging style, decor and DIY experts are taking part in the 5th annual Ultimate Upcycle Challenge: Storage Solutions. Revolving around the over-arching theme of storage solutions, participants will choose one piece from any of the 10 Habitat for Humanity GTA ReStores and are given free rein to be as creative and unique as their DIY minds will allow to design and upcycle a piece that will offer additional storage and organization options for small spaces.

“The Ultimate Upcycle Challenge is the perfect way the experts to show how easy it is to be creative with upcycling a piece of furniture. Giving it new life with the purpose of solving todays storage challenges, while remaining chic and fashionable,” said Holmes. Confirmed participants include Evelyn Eshun (Evelyn Eshun Interiors), Anne Renshaw (interior designer), Carson Arthur (international landscape designer and outdoor expert, Cityline, Critical Listing, Home to Win), Chris Palmer (Hand Crafted by Chris Palmer), Clare Kumar (professional organizer) and Anna Rocoski and Cristina Barbosa (Toronto Home Shows).

All entries will be displayed and for sale at the Toronto Fall Home Show, with proceeds going to support Habitat for Humanity GTA. An online voting contest will run from September 15 to 23 to determine the winning project.
