Carpet One Floor & Home has partnered with Canadian designer Melissa Davis to enhance their stores with tools to elevate the customer shopping experience and provide in-store design inspirations. Davis will be sharing her home design expertise by creating various collections of her favourite Carpet One Floor & Home products based on style trends.
Davis’ advice will help guide customers by addressing some of the most common concerns, such as finding tile that complements hardwood, or how to transition from hardwood to carpet. Her collections will piece together different types of flooring that together create a cohesive, polished look. Beyond Davis’ flooring collections she will offer Skype consultations to customers across Canada and in person at appearances in select retail locations.
“I often get questions from my clients about how to choose flooring and combine materials to not only complement their style but also balance their budgets,” said Davis. “It’s a significant part of an overall design and with innumerable options, can be overwhelming for many.”
“We understand that selecting the perfect floor can be challenging,” said Stan Langer, director of marketing for Carpet One Floor & Home. “This partnership is just another way we are working to make customers’ shopping experience much more enjoyable.” With this partnership, stores will provide the resources and tools necessary for their customers to create beautiful spaces with designer approved products and colour palettes.
“I’m excited to be working with Carpet One Floor & Home to combine their flooring expertise with my design insight,” adds Davis. “I think my collections and advice will help make the shopping process much more enjoyable for customers.”
